if the shoe fits, wear it
And that’s what I did with these AMAZING shoes, which are actually my roommate Laura’s and the second pair of heels I’ve borrowed from her to match this particular dress. Which brings me to my theory on roommates: only live with people with whom you can share clothes, jewelry and shoes :-) Laura is actually the first roommate I’ve had who is the same shoe size as me, and let me tell you it’s awesome!
So, I wore this dress to a wedding last month, and as many of you may remember, I bought it for $10 at a vintage store. I got it for such a great deal because it needed a bit of DIY love. But, even though I had only worn it once, I wanted to style it differently for its second wear. And… I totally wanted to try rocking the red lips look. So… here it is:
